Common Questions:
What exactly does an officiant do?
Officiants are legally able to perform marriage ceremonies. Above and beyond paperwork, I create custom ceremonies that are emotionally engaging to you as well as the guests witnessing your marriage. A good officiant helps you create moments, memories, feelings and of course, your marriage. Aren't all ceremonies the same?
Many are, but they shouldn't be. You're unique, and what will trigger your feelings is unique too. The ceremony is the most sacred part of your marriage. When performed correctly, your ceremony should be a strong memory that serves as a reminder of your promises to each other. A meaningful ceremony can help guide your relationship for the many years ahead.
When will you arrive?
I arrive early to begin preparing for the ceremony. I check that all sound equipment is correctly set up and that all measures have been taken to perform the ceremony flawlessly.
How long is the ceremony?
Every ceremony I perform is unique. Your ceremony should be catered to you and your guests and last as long as you wish.
What do ceremonies cost and what is included?
Ceremonies are $695 (this includes the rehearsal dinner or $495 without.) and they include consultation and planning services to help you create an experience that you and your guests will remember. Each ceremony is also tailored to your specific style and taste. A $150, non-refundable, deposit is required to reserve your date.
How do we reserve your services and the date?
Dates often book out many months in advance. Give me a call or e-mail to check availability and we will work from there.
